Story: Raktabija Ending

This is the world where Humans, Demons, and Gods exist. Gods lived in Heaven, Human lived on Earth, and Demons lived in Hell. There were three omnipotent being who watched over everyone and no matter who you are human, demon, or god there were all equal in front of them and didn’t discriminate. They were known as Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh they were really powerful. Brahma was the God of Creation, Vishnu was the God of Preservation, and Mahesh was the God of Destruction and could do anything you name it. Those omnipotent beings were born with the universe then the other living being was born and they were born from those three omnipotent being. They really loved their devotee who would do puja and pray to them every day.

Demons always took advantage of that kind they showed by those three Gods. They would meditate for thousand and thousand of year to please the god so they would get boon from those Gods. Boon is like a wish that is being granted. This time one of the demon Raktabija meditated for thousand years to please the Lord Brahma so he could get a boon. He finally pleased Lord Brahma and Lord Brahma came down to earth to give him his boon. The boon that Raktabija chose to get is that every time a drop of his blood fell on the ground, he would make a clone of himself and will get stronger.


Right after getting his boon he started terrorizing the earth and also started creating trouble for gods in heavens. Indra the kind of Heaven and Raktabija went to war but Indra was defeated really easily so he dicided to get help Lord Brahma. But no god could kill him so Lord Mahesh asked his wife Parvati. Goddess Parvati agree to battle with him and when she went to battlefield she went with two of her forms one is Chandi and another one is Kali. While Chandi fought with Raktabija, Kali sucked his blood away with her red tongue and didn’t let his blood fall down on the ground and that how he died.

Author Note: This story is about Demon Raktabija who he is and how he gains power from Lord Brahma. They don't talk that much about Raktabija in video and I thought I should make a story about this demon. The original story and this story are same but I have little bit more detail to the story so it feels like a story.

    Hey Jay!
    I really enjoyed reading your story “Raktabija Ending.” Further, I thought your story flowed very well, however if you added some dialogue between your characters I think it would make your story just that much better. Also, the image you used complemented your story really well! Overall, I think you did a great job on your story and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!

    Hey Jay!
    It was interesting reading this tale about Raktabija. I had learned about Parvati’s different forms throughout the semester, but I had never actually read a story about her going into combat. It is also quite troublesome how frequently the gods give out boons. I have seen it come back to hurt them more often than not. Anyways you did a good job with this story.

It was chaos on the Earth because Demons were running rampant on the Earth for past hundred years. So Goddess Parvati decides to reincarnate with the mortal body on Earth so she could end the evil. She was foreseen that the Earth was going to be in grave danger in the future.
