Reading Notes: Mahabharata: The Greatest Spiritual Epic of All Time Part A.

Image
The book that I choose to write my notes is on Mahabharata: The Greatest Spiritual Epic of All Time.   From Reading A I chose to take notes in chapter 1.2: Pandu Cursed and Blessed.   Frist of all I didn’t expect this story to be in so much detail and actually have like a whole chapter and I kind of enjoy reading this kind of novel because it has a setting, emotion, character and how their daily life works in great detail. I chose to take notes on this story because the title of this chapter sounded interesting. The most interesting and shocked part of this chapter for me was that Pandu the king who killed the deer but in reality the deer was Rishimuni Kindama who was transformed into deer form and mating with his wife, who was also transformed in to deer because people would criticize him for doing this kind of activity because he was Brahmin and Brahmin can’t do those kind of act. So do the act of intercourse they both transform into deer but were killed by the King Pandu a...

Week 8 Progress

Image
I think I am happy with my progress so far because I have an A in the class. My favorite assignments from the class are to write stories every Thursday and the Project we are doing right now on the website. I have used extra credit if I haven't done any assignment that week. I think what we are doing is what I like, so I don't want to change anything for the second half of the semester. I think this picture will make me motivated to push through the rest of the semester. Week 8 Comments and Feedback

Image
I think receiving feedback from students in the class does help a lot. The type of comment that I find most helpful is when they point out my grammar mistake because I am not good at grammar. when I feedback out and read other people stories I do get ideas for my stories for my next writing. I am happy with the blog where people can comment on your introduction. I probably not change anything on my blog. I think this picture is awesome because of receiving feedback can really make you grow. Source

Week 8 Reading and Writing

Image
I think writing assignments are working really well for me and they are interesting. I think I would say my favorite reading so far would be both Mahabharata and Ramayana, so it a tie because I really like both of those stories. Reading notes did help with my story post, and from those notes, I could imagine and can write a lot of different type of stories. I am really happy with my class project because I am writing what I want to write in my class project. My biggest accomplishment in the writing class is that I am gradually improving my writing skills. I look forward to seeing what new things we have to do in this class. I think this picture is my favorite picture from all the picture I have posted before and It a picture of Mahabharata war. Source

Story: Mahabharat

Image
When the six Pandavas went to Chaos forest they faced a lot of hardship. They fought demons and monster that lived in the forest and the deeper they went the stronger the demons and monster became. Based on how strong demons and monster are they are a demon on the first level, second level demon soldier, third level demon general, fourth level demon commander, fifth level demon lord, sixth level demon king, seven-level demon emperor, eight level demon demi-god, and last ninth level demon god. Monsters also have this same level and as the name change they get stronger and stronger, weakest is demon and strongest is demon god it applied to the monsters too. Luckily they didn’t face demon and monster above the demon commander or they would have been killed or badly injured. After roaming around in the Chaos forest for nine days they still couldn’t find the six immortal mountains. They didn’t even know it was night while finding the mountains, so they decided to rest and put up ca...

Reading Notes: PDE Mahabharata Part D

Image
The book that I choose to write my notes is on Public Domain Edition Mahabharata.  From reading part D, I took notes on chapter 66 and chapter 67. Chapter 66 is called Bhima and Duhshasana. This chapter is all about Bhima killing Dushshasana and drinking his blood. Because during the event where Draupadi was shamed in front of everybody by Dushshasana in the gambling hall and at that time Bhima made a promise in front of everyone that he would drink Dushshasana blood after killing him to quench his thirst for revenge. My favorite part of this chapter is Dushshasana got what he deserved because people should forcefully try to take off any women clothes in front of everyone but at the end, Krishna saved her so and because of that Bhima vows to kill him on the battlefield and drink his blood. That was a nice plot because if you want to survive in this world you have to be cruel to your enemy so they can’t stand up anymore. The second chapter that I took notes on is ch...
