Story: Introduction of Six Pandavas

There were ones six brothers and they were the princes of Kuru clan and they are Yudhishthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula, Sahadeva, and Karna. They weren't just ordinary people, they were demigods and Yudhishthira was the son of Dharma (Justice), Bhima was the son of Vayu (Wind), Arjuna was the son of Indra (King of Heaven), Sahadeva and Nakula were twins and they were sons of god Ashvins Kumaras (Gods of Sunrise and Sunset Averting Misfortune and Sickness) and last son Karna was the son of Sun God.

They each had a power that they were inherited from God like Nakula and Sahadeva can predict future but soon forget if nobody was there to hear it and both age fifteen. Yudhishthira was ingenious, and dedicated to the path of Dharma like his dad and never lied before age fifteen. Bhima had unmatched physical power and speed and nobody was his match age fifteen. Arjuna was a great archer age fifteen.  Last son Karna was archer and was born with Kavach (Armor) and Kundal (earrings) age fifteen. With Kavach and Kundal no weapon could destroy him, I no weapon even the weapon granted by gods so practically immortal but he was just to kind would donate anything.

One day the princies of Kuru clan were sitting in the resturant and enjoying their meal and suddendly out of nowhere Vishnu the god of preservaiton came to the there Kuru Kingdom in disguise of Rishimuni and told the six brothers "You brothers will face a calamity in the future and if you want to overcome that disaster you bother will have to go to six immortal mountains to train in the Chaos forest and the calamity will be called Mahabharata." when all of the brothers heard that they were shocked and ask the Rishimuni, "what kind of disaster?" but he didn't reply and just disappear into thin air and they were even more surprise seeing Rishimuni disappear.

Yudhishthira was the oldest one so he said, "I think we should believe the Rishimuni and go to Chaos forest." Then Sahadeva said, "But that forest is the most dangerous one in the whole continent." Bima said with an excited expression, "Ohh come on don't be scared it going to be fun we will get to fight lots demons and monster and I always wanted to go Chaos forest." When the Arjuna and they heard this sentence they thought, "Is it the only thing you think fighting whole day." Suddenly Nukula had a vision and his eyes went wide and he said, "We will face a hundred foes in the future who try to destroy us and this kingdom, but I don't know the exact time." When other brother heard him say that their expression became ugly and had a frown on the face.

Yudhishthira said, "Alright we will go out in two days, prepare everything for it." Then all the brother left the restaurant went back to the Kingdom to prepare for their journey to the Chaos forest. Vishnu was still there hiding in the shadow and said mad expression, "You guys didn't believe me and only believed me until Nukula had a vision of the future just wait until you find the six immortal mountains I will hellish training to each and every one of you Hahahahaha." he just sounded like a devil straight out of hell. About two miles away from restaurant suddenly all the brother felt a chill running down their spine.

Author note: The original story is where they introduce the Pandavas and the how the King Pandu died from the curse but this story takes a different route and they go to train in six immoral mountains in Chaos forest to defeat the calamity that going to come in the future.

  1. I really enjoyed your story! I like how it felt more of a superhero and modern time story. I also liked that you gave each brother a certain skill or aspect to really distinguish them, because I get confused sometimes which brother is which. I would maybe suggest adding more background to Vishnu, such as why he is putting them through this test.

  2. Hey there, Jay!
I thought that this was a really cool story! I was really interested in the six brothers and their different super human powers. It was cool to see that they were each unique and powerful in their own way. I also like how you ended the story. It leaves you room to revisit it in the future and add another story where you left off.
